Witnesses sought after vandals smash car window in Newtownabbey

Police are appealing for information following a report of criminal damage in the Carnmoney Road North area of Newtownabbey yesterday evening (Tuesday, November 10).

Detailing the incident in a statement to the Times, a PSNI spokesperson said: “Shortly after 9.05pm, it was reported that a stone was thrown at a red Mazda that was travelling along the Manse Way area.

“The stone struck the front passenger window and caused it to smash. A female who was driving the car, was not injured following the incident.

“Enquiries are continuing and police would appeal to anyone who witnessed the incident, or who saw anything suspicious in the area, to contact police on 101, quoting reference number 1846 10/11/20.
