A TEAM of advisors from Bryson Recycling are currently calling at homes across the borough to provide information about a new recycling service being introduced by Newtownabbey Council.
An improved recycling service is being launched in the area, which involves each household getting a black recycling box to use with the existing red recycling box. The new service means residents will be able to recycle more materials from home on a weekly basis, including paper, cartons and a wider range of plastic packaging.
The advisors will be calling at households from now until the end of May. They will all be wearing Bryson Recycling high visibility vests and will be carrying photographic ID.
Claire McCallum, Communications Manager at Bryson Recycling, said: “We have found that talking to householders on their doorstep is an excellent method of communication. It provides us with an opportunity to supply information about how this new service will work as well as answer any queries residents may have.”
Households will be provided with an information pack. For further information log on to www.brysonrecycling.org or contact Bryson Recycling on tel: 9084 8494.
