Eamon’s relief after finishing punishing cycle challenge

Mallusk man Eamon McManus, celebrated completing a punishing 440mile charity cycle ride from Ireland’s most southern point, Malin Head, to the most northern point, Mizen head to raise funds for charity Cash for Kids.

Eamon, who works in the international airport, documented the ups and downs, he experienced including the many punctures, the injuries and the typical Irish weather they were forced to ride through in a blog

The team were also supported by Charles Hurst at the Chimney Corner who supplied a back-up vehicle.

Eamon dedicated the punishing cycle to his father, he said: “Also, I would like to thank my team of Robert and Michelle Galbriath, Stacey Dickie, Finlay McAuley and my wife and daughter.
