Fire crews called to gas leak
Fire Service personnel and Phoenix Gas engineers were called to the scene of a gas leak in Mallusk on Monday, June 24.
It’s understood the leak occurred at commercial premises on Mallusk Road when a gas main was accidentally ruptured by workmen using a mechanical digger.
Three fire appliances attended the scene of the incident.
The leak was repaired by Phoenix engineers.
