A TEAM of paranormal investigators has submitted a request to Newtownabbey Borough Council asking for permission to carry out a ghost hunt at Mossley Mill.
The Glengormley-based North Belfast Paranormal Research Group (NBPRG) recently wrote to the local authority asking for night-time access to the historic building and grounds.
On the group’s website, Mossley Mill appears on a list of ‘haunted’ sites around Ireland. And now its members have requested entry to the property in order to conduct “a paranormal investigation”.
In an email to the council, Carl Wetton (pictured), who co-founded the NBPRG with his partner Amanda Wade, says: “We expect this to be a dry run for future coordination of professional research and will also establish base readings so that we may more ably gauge when future readings are anomalous.”
