Give My Head Peace live at The Braid

NORTHERN Ireland’s favourite dysfunctional family hit the road again with their brand new stage show.

Featuring flegs, horse burgers, Popes and Ulster’s first gay marriage Give My Head Peace is the up to the minute topical show not to be missed.

Uncle Andy and his sidekick, the notorious paramilitary “holy” man Pastor Begbie, will demonstrate how to organise your own flags protest and start yet another new unionist party.

Dympna is trying to write the next 50 Shades blockbuster - unfortunately her life with Billy the Peeler is not enough to inspire a chapter never mind a trilogy.

Meanwhile Da and Ma are at loggerheads until their famously stupid son suddenly becomes a priest, and then a bishop. Could Cal become the first Irish Pope?

The show also features Liam Neeson (though probably not in person), an appearance by Ulster’s favourite sportsmen the motorcycle mad McDowell Brothers and superb topical stand-up from Tim McGarry.

Producer Tim McGarry said: “We love taking Uncle Andy and the crew on the road every year to get their unique take on the year’s events.

“It’s a guaranteed laugh out loud night of comedy. Don’t go if you take politics too seriously... or if you are Mike Nesbitt. Everyone else will have a great night out.”
