Glengormley pupils are flying high

STAFF and pupils from Glengormley Integrated Primary School took to the skies on Friday, May 6 as they boarded a Bombardier Flybe Q400 Dash8 for a low level flight from George Best Belfast City Airport.

The special airborne experience was the concluding day of a series of joint flight workshop opportunities with Bombardier Education Officer Tony Monaghan and Glenann Primary School from Cushendall.

Glengormley and Glenann have been school partners for three years, initially established through the Integrated Education Fund’s PACT3 initiative.
