This Saturday (June 25), Glengormley will be awash with colour and music as the third annual Culture Carnival will be taking place.
Dance your way to Lilian Bland Community Park at 12 noon for a great day of carnival atmosphere and family fun.
A wide range of family fun activities are planned for the park. These will run until 5pm.
These activities include circus skills, face painting, bouncy castles, cage football and lots more.

The Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey, Councillor John Scott, commented: “Make sure you visit Lilian Bland Community Park and take in all the colour and fun on offer at the Culture Carnival. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about the world we live in and experience different cultures.”
Cllr john Blair is encouraging the community to come and enjoy the events that are taking place. The Alliance representative said: “I have attended the carnival in previous years and it has gained momentum, There is great interaction between the council and the local community and I would encourage more people to come and support it this year.”
This colourful event, now in its third year, is funded by the council, Antrim and Newtownabbey Policing and Community Safety Partnership, The Executive Office and jointly organised with the Community Relations Forum and Glengormley Chamber & Traders’ Association.
