THE owner of a Ballyclare car wash business targeted by vandals has appealed for an end to attacks at his Main Street premises.

Fatos Cufaj, known to his customers as Sergio, operates a total of six Euro Hand Car Wash outlets - three of which are in Newtownabbey.

His properties in Glengormley and Ballyearl have both been targeted by racist vandals on several occasions in the past. But the thugs who attacked his Ballyclare premises this week stooped to a new low, threatening to kill foreign nationals who work at the site.

This is the third time the Ballyclare car wash has been trashed since it opened in December.

CCTV footage from the Ballyclare site shows two men carrying out the latest attack shortly after 1.30am on Tuesday (March 15).

They smashed security lights and cameras, wrecked signage and electrical sockets and painted ‘You missed a bit. Go home or die’ on the shutter of the former filling station.
