Kilbride Central Primary School pupils visited Ballygally Hall on Friday June 5 as part of the All at Sea Key Stage 1 programme.
The children had the opportunity to learn about the Lifeboats and the history of Ballygally including the Vikings, Spanish Armada and the Castle.
The pupils drew Vikings ships, built a huge sandcastle, heard stories, sang songs, decorated beach stones and played nautical games.
Hall co-ordinator Caragh Reid said that the hall delivers historical and environmental programmes for schools, coach parties and groups. The hall is seeking volunteers to help run its activities. For more information about the services or to volunteer telephone 028 2858 1050, email email@example.com or visit the Ballygally community hall Facebook page.
