TALENTED young artist Leesha Irwin is transforming the look of Ballyclare town centre.
The Ballyclare Secondary schoolgirl has been commissioned by local retailer Gail Conway to transform the look of her shop for Valentine's Day.
The 16-year-old painted a mural on the shop window on Monday.
Gail said: "Leesha has a fantastic talent. Over Christmas she painted a festive themed mural and it went down very well, lots of people said how colourful it was. So I was very keen to get Leesha back in and get her doing more. It is a very tough time for retailers to attract business and hopefully this is one way I can catch people's attention."
Incredibly Leesha was allowed to design and paint the mural without consulting Gail beforehand.
Gail added: "I had no problems putting it all in Leesha's hands, she is more than capable and I have no doubt the finished piece will be great and add a bit of colour to the town."
