Local police have a busy Halloween

Local police had a busy Halloween attending a number of incidents in the Glengormley area.

Officers attended to a number of instances of anti-social behaviour in the Church Road, Church Crescent, Antrim Road, Carnmoney Road and Glebe Road West areas between midnight on Thursday, October 27 and midnight on Sunday, October 30. Police said the reports described rival factions gathering at various times each evening.

Police responded to each report and youths were dispersed from a number of locations.

On the Antrim Road a 15-year-old was assaulted, however, no complaint was made to the police.

Police also received several reports of fireworks being thrown on Carnmoney Road North and at the Carnmoney shopping area near Tesco, on Sunday, October 30.
