Newtownabbey Mayor resumes tour of local businesses

These visits have taken place to inform the borough council of issues relating to the local business community and raise concerns relating to economic development in the district.

Last week, the mayor visited Ballynure company RGM Vents which offers design, installation and maintenance of bespoke ventilation systems for commercial or industrial premises of any scale or complexity, within Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland and United Kingdom, especially greater London.

Established in 2004, by Raymond Murphy, RGM has grown to become a “leading player in the field of ventilation contracting, providing a high standard of service and professionalism on all contracts whether large or small”. RGM has established a “large and diverse customer base generating continued repeat business”.

Mr. Murphy said: “Throughout this continued growth period, Invest NI has played a pivotal role through providing the company with assistance for employment, marketing and IT systems.

“RGM designers and engineers are particularly experienced at working alongside architects, interior designers and consultants to produce the best possible solution for new-build or renovation projects.”

Alderman Thomas Hogg commented: “It is great to see a local business thrive and grow from strength to strength. Utilising state of the art production technologies, RGM Vents is able to turn out a high quality product at a fast track rate, essential in today’s demanding market place.

“As a result, they have a highly respectable client list including names such as: Bombardier Aerospace; Sainsbury’s; Asda and Tesco.”
