NI Water has thanked customers in the Ballyclare area for showing patience during a water outage over the weekend.
A spokesperson from the agency said: “The issue is now fully resolved and all affected properties are in supply once again. Our repair team worked into the night in very cold conditions, and we were grateful to customers in the area for their patience while the emergency repair work was carried out. A water main on Tildarg Road, Doagh, sustained a burst during the course of the weekend. Although the burst was located and a repair carried out within a relatively short time, airlocks in the system meant there was a delay in restoring supplies to some customers.”
