Outstanding results at Belfast High

BELFAST High School has celebrated outstanding results in this year’s A Levels.

Principal Lynn Gormley paid tribute to the school’s staff, parents, governors and pupils for their work in achieving another successful set of exam grades.

She said: “Last year Belfast High was highlighted as one of only six post-primary schools in Northern Ireland to be in the top 10 per cent for A Level and GCSE results.

“The tremendous results at A Level this year indicate that our pupils have done just as well, if not slightly better than the achievements last year which placed the school firmly in the top quartile of grammar schools in Northern Ireland.

“We are absolutely delighted that the pupils and teachers have been rewarded for all their diligence.”

She continued: “We are looking forward to good results from our GCSE pupils next week and we wish them all the best of luck.”
