Antrim Area Hospital Emergency Department ‘under significant demand’
The Northern Health and Social Care Trust has called on residents to only attend the Emergency Department if their condition is urgent or life threatening.
Posting on social media this afternoon, a spokesperson for the Trust said: “Antrim Area Hospital’s Emergency Department is under significant demand right now.
“There are currently 99 people in the Emergency Department. 37 people are waiting for a bed.
“Please only attend if your condition is urgent or life threatening.”
