Carrickfergus chef's page raising funds to support Northern Ireland Children's Hospice

An online cookery page set up by a Carrickfergus chef is supporting a local charity after garnering thousands of followers.

Dobbins Inn chef David Simpson established a public Facebook page, 'Home cooking recipes with David Simpson', during lockdown earlier this year.

With content including recipes and cookery tutorials, the page now has over 54,000 subscribers.

The page is now raising funds for the Northern Ireland Children's Hospice. "We would love you to donate and take a picture of your family baking in the kitchen with a big thumbs up," organsiers said.
