James Hagan (67), Chair and Founder, Hagan Homes, acted out the role of Donald Trump in the company’s Hagan Homes’ ‘Making Homes Great Again!’ campaign.

Commenting on the campaign, Mr Hagan said: “Buying a home can be a nerve-wracking experience for buyers, especially now during a period of economic uncertainty.

“Hagan Homes is committed to supporting the local housing stock, regardless of the political and economic climate, and it understands the challenges facing many during this time so recognising that humour is the lifeblood of our communities, our most recent campaign plays on the topical news agenda of the US elections, and in particular the American President’s ‘Make America Great Again’ slogan.

“Our recent campaign, ‘Hagan Homes’ ‘Making Homes Great Again!’ incorporates a series of billboards and images where I, the proprietor of Hagan Homes, am acting out the role of an American president.

“We are not in any way making any political statement with the campaign and it has, in good spirit, added light humour to the campaign to inject a comical element into what can be a, sometimes, stressful experience.”

He added: “We have been delighted with the success of the campaign since it was launched over two weeks ago. In excess of 300,000 views across all Hagan Homes’ social media platforms were recorded last weekend alone and our company’s website traffic has more than doubled since the campaign broke. We have also received many positive comments on the campaign, both publicly and privately.

“Hagan Homes is committed to serving our customers and communities during these challenging times and is delighted to offer a range of home purchase options to make the process of owning a home as easy as possible.”

Ballyclare-based Hagan Homes is an award-winning company that has built over 4,000 homes across Northern Ireland since it was established over 30 years ago.

The company is committed to Northern Ireland and plans to build 2000 new homes over the next ten years, as part of an ambitious £300million development programme. The investment will create and sustain hundreds of jobs in the local construction sector.
