Commenting on the issue, a spokesperson for NI Water said: “We are currently working to repair a burst water main in BT39 Ballyclare.

“Apologies for any inconvenience caused. We will have this repaired as soon as possible.

“Customers may experience a loss of water supply or a drop in pressure when the work is being carried out.”

The postcode areas potentially affected are BT365BN, BT365SF, BT365SG, BT365SH, BT365SJ, BT365SQ, BT399LP, BT399LR, BT399LS, BT399LT, BT399LU, BT399LW, BT399LX, BT399NL, BT399NP, BT399NS, BT399NT, BT399NU, BT399NX, BT399NY, BT399NZ, BT399PA, BT399PB, BT399PP, BT399RR, and BT399ZL.

The estimated restoration time is 6pm on March 16.
