Pensioner ‘safe and well’ following PSNI appeal
Police have confirmed that they have identified and located the elderly female they were concerned for after issuing an appeal on social media this morning (Tuesday).
Officers launched an appeal for information to help trace the elderly woman who was seen in the Upper Hightown Road car park at the Cave Hill Country Park last night (Monday).

Providing an update this afternoon, a PSNI spokesperson said: “It transpires that she was not on Cave Hill over night.
“She has been spoken to and we are pleased to report that she is safe and well.
“Again, we would like to thank those of you who shared our post and got in contact with information about her - it really does make a difference.”
