Petrol bombs and stones thrown during Glenville disturbance

Police in Newtownabbey responded to reports of youths causing a disturbance in the Glenville Road area of Whiteabbey on Saturday night, June 30.

Shortly after 8.30pm it was reported that a crowd of youths had gathered in the area throwing stones. A number of petrol bombs were also thrown. Upon arrival of police, the crowd dispersed. There were no reports of any injuries and no damage was caused.
