Kidzconnect was focused on listening to the voices of young people who took part in workshops including a four corners walking debate about services and facilities. Other workshops included considering how to make Antrim and Newtownabbey an age friendly place to live, trying out the ‘take five’ steps for emotional well-being and discussing the skills and qualities of role models.

School Council members came face-to-face with the mayor and elected members to ask the pressing questions they had always wanted to ask.
