HEARTLESS thieves have targeted a charity shop in Ballyclare which helps support disadvantaged young children across Northern Ireland.
The would-be thieves attempted to make their way through the roof of Bernardo’s shop on Ballyclare’s Main Street on Thursday, October 20.
However, because of the concrete construction of the roof the thieves were unable to gain access.
This is the third time in the past two weeks that the charity has been targeted - with stores in Ballymoney and Coleraine robbed under similar circumstances.
