Ballynure road closed for resurfacing works
Motorists are advised that a section of the Church Road in Ballynure is closed to facilitate carriageway resurfacing works.
The road closure, which commenced at 8am this morning (Wednesday), is operating from Lismenary Road to Ballycorr Road.
A Department for Infrastructure (DfI) spokesperson said: “The closure is required daily for carriageway resurfacing.
“An alternative route is Lismenary Road - Lower Ballyboley Road - Church Road and vice versa.”
The work is being carried out by a DfI Roads contractor.
Road users are advised to expect estimated delays of up to five minutes.
The work is set to be completed by 6.30pm on Saturday, March 20.
