Section of Ballyclare road closed for works

The lane closure, which commenced today (Monday), is operating outside 53 Ballyeaston Road to the junction with Ballycorr Road.

Providing an update this afternoon, a Department for Infrastructure (DfI) spokesperson said: “The closure will operate continuously. It is required for a connection of new Firmus Energy gas mains.”

Road users are advised to expect an estimated delay of between five and 15 minutes.

The work is set to be completed by 4.30pm on Monday, October 26.
