Valentine's Day 2020 - here are the best-value supermarket dinner deals to treat your date

While the popular image of a great Valentine's night usually involves a fancy restaurant, sometimes staying in is the better option - especially when it’s cold and dark outside.

And if you don’t fancy cooking, the supermarkets have their very own Valentine’s Day meal deals on offer, with menus to suit every taste.

Grab one of these dine-in options, light a few candles and you'll be all set for a romantic night in.

For the main event, there's 21-day matured steak, duck breast, salmon fillets, beef wellington or, the most romantic of them all, chicken “love nuggets” which come in the shape of little hearts. Awww.

Chips or cheesy mashed potato are available as sides, and you can enjoy heart-shaped pancakes to finish things off.
