Bob Homani’s century was the highlight of Templepatrick’s first league win of the season. The South African all-rounder was in splendid form on Sunday as Lurgan lost by 133 runs.
The Lurgan skipper’s tactic of putting Richard Greer’s lads in backfired when the hosts posted 253 for 4. Homani (above) led the way with 112 not-out, with other significant contributions coming from Jay Hunter (33), Artie Campbell (32 not out) and Robert Smith (29).
Lurgan’s reply was restricted to 120, with Rhydian Davies taking the bowling honours with four wickets, while Chris Busby and Robert Smith had two apiece, and there were two run-outs by wicket-keeper Homani.
