Winter training and racing continues to go well for County Antrim Harriers. With Spring marathons looming, the numbers out training each week continue to grow.
Last weekend the Harriers took on the Albertville 5-mile race at Greencastle. The flat, fast course supported some great times with Helen Collins running a PB of 33:46, followed by Natalie Davidson 36:13 and Julie Ann McAllister 47:31.
In April the Harriers will be taking on both the Manchester and London Marathons, with a few making their debut at the 26.2-miles distance.
Many of the new members have made the first County Antrim Harriers Ballyclare May Fair 10k and 5k fun run their goal for May. Entries and more information can be found at www.countyantrimharriers.co.uk
