Easter festivities at The BT Blues Club

No, there will be no rolling of Easter eggs of Easter bunnies, but there will be plenty of live, guitar charged blues and classic rock music.

Following on from an excellent day in March where Coldshot (fronted by Stevie Craig) lifted the roof, resident band the Stonehouse Band will return.

Fresh from the rehearsal studio the guys have an even extended and varied setlist for you. For you regulars you will be aware that the line up now consists of Spencer on vocals, Conor - Bass, Gary (Milky) - Guitar, Paul (Looi) - Drums - they are regularly joined on stage by special guests to include Stevie Craig.

Their setlist extends from AC/DC with a twist, Chigaco Blues, rock Blues through to Zeppelin, with an excellent and diverse range of classic rock, blues and soul in between.

The guys have also invited a new band to the club as special guests. This is a trend they hope to continue where they invite new acts as a support, so far all support acts have secured a full headline slot in their own right due to crowd demand.

So Easter Saturday promises to be another excellent day for the ever popular live music event.

The BT Blues Club is fast becoming renowned as the Home of the best live blues, rock and soul music in the province. Later in the year you can expect to see appearances from popular favourites to include Errol Walsh, Hardchargers, Legals Tender.

In addition, the guys plan to open the club on the third Saturday of each month to provide a platform for roots, folk, country blues and much more. More details will follow on this very soon.

Doors will open at the usual time of 3.30pm on Saturday, April 7 with live music kicking off around 4pm. There will be the usual raffle and prizes, come early to get your seat and enjoy another afternoon of live music played how it should be. Everyone welcome.
