Women collect top awards

Elaine Armstrong, Catherine Cassells and Veronica Toal had their professional training and development achievements recognised at a ceremony organised by DMS Ireland, along with 46 candidates who successfully completed CIPD Qualifications this year.

Elaine Armstrong, from NACCO Materials Handling, completed the Intermediate Diploma in Human Resource Management and Catherine Cassells and Veronica Toal of Land and Property Services, received their certificate for the Foundation Award in Coaching & Mentoring.

This year’s event was a special occasion as the Human Resource & Development profession celebrated 100 years of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD).

Lynn said a recent survey revealed that business priorities are changing over the next three years with innovation and technology deployment becoming a key focus of attention and what HR will be focusing on to achieve these business priorities.
