Women collect top awards

Three Lurgan women have won top awards at a prestigious ceremony to recognise staff in the human resources arena.

Elaine Armstrong, Catherine Cassells and Veronica Toal had their professional training and development achievements recognised at a ceremony organised by DMS Ireland, along with 46 candidates who successfully completed CIPD Qualifications this year.

Elaine Armstrong, from NACCO Materials Handling, completed the Intermediate Diploma in Human Resource Management and Catherine Cassells and Veronica Toal of Land and Property Services, received their certificate for the Foundation Award in Coaching &
Mentoring.

This year’s event was a special occasion as the Human Resource & Development profession celebrated 100 years of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD).
