Virtual duck race to raise funds for Glenarm school

Members of the public could be in line to win a festive family prize at Glenarm Castle if their duck comes first in a virtual race in aid of Seaview Integrated Primary School.

The New Road school’s PTA will be hosting the virtual duck race to raise funds to support pupils purchase equipment and extra curricular activities that are not included within school funding.

Ducks, priced at £3, are available to purchase here

The prize for the person whose duck comes first is a Glenarm Castle Christmas Experience for two adults and two children on Saturday, December 17 at 6.30pm.

A PTA spokesperson said: “The ducks will be launched at noon on Thursday, November 3 and finish at noon on Saturday, November 5 (Guy Fawkes Night).

"You will be able to customise your duck and log on to see the progress of your duck throughout the race on the leaderboard.

"Free postal entries are available. Please go to the website for more information.”
