Ahoghill YFC's busy winter programme draws to an end

As their busy winter programme draws to a close, Ahoghill Young Farmers' Club members are already looking to summer months featuring sports nights, stock judging competitions and, of course, the annual trip to Balmoral Show.

The Club ended 2016 on a high as they celebrated their 85th anniversary with an anniversary dinner in November when the last few generations of Ahoghill Young farmers were out in full force at a night which enabled the club to present a cheque of £5000 to their chosen charity Turning Point NI.

Over the last year, members helped the Ahoghill in Bloom team by litter-picking, hedge cutting and weeding and in November were invited to help celebrate their Champion of Champions Award at Stormont.
