Mayor of Mid and East Antrim Borough Councillor Audrey Wales MBE has already been playing her part to encourage everyone – including Council staff - to join in.

Councillor Wales said the No Smoking Day 2017 themed ‘Proud to be a Quitter’ event is being undertaken in partnership with the Public Health Agency – and is very appropriate.

Speaking at Seven Towers Leisure Centre, the Mayor said: “Everyone is invited to take advantage of the information sessions that will run during No Smoking Day across all three of our leisure centres, in Ballymena, Larne and Carrickfergus.
