34 MRSA episodes in Trust
THERE were 34 MRSA patient episodes in hospitals in the Western Trust over the past three years, the Health Minister Edwin Poots has revealed.
The level of infection was the lowest of any Trust in Northern Ireland.
The total number of episodes the Western Trust in 2009/10 was 11; in 2010/11 its was 15 and in 2011/12 it was 7.
The Minister revealed the details in response to an Assembly Question.
