Age NI holds befriending project celebration
The event took place in McConnell’s of Doagh and was supported by AES Kilroot.
Una Mulgrew, project co-ordinator, said: “This was a wonderful event that brought everyone together from the Newtownabbey, Carrick and Larne area in celebration of a worthwhile service. We were entertained by music and dancing courtesy of Eddie Campbell’s Jukebox Session and by a few singers from the crowd, both young and old, who displayed a fine array of talent. Many thanks to the kindness shown by AES Kilroot who funded the event and to McConnells for the warm reception.”
