Another successful year for Finvoy YFC

ANOTHER YFCU year has come to an end for Finvoy YFC and what a successful year it has been!

Many members achieved awards at not only county level but also at Northern Ireland level in a wide range of competitions from public speaking to floral Art.

Finvoy YFC’s parents’ night was held recently which further reinforced the great commitment and success of the club with all members receiving a large number of proficiency awards and as always the club got some of their scandal rid up for another year.

Yet again Finvoy got through to the YFCU Arts Festival gala at the Millennium Forum with their performance of “50 Shades of Fame.” The club extends sincere thanks to the producer Jonathan Hanna and his team for all their hard work and commitment. With The Drama fever in the air, a joint force of Garvagh and Finvoy YFC performed their 3 act play “The Maiden Aunt” in many various locations. This humorous performance allowed the audience to see some of the cast in a completely different light, particularly YFCU Deputy president, Martyn Blair.

Amongst all this business Finvoy is still working hard and 15 members are currently rehearsing for the up and coming one act drama festival which they will be performing on the 26th April in Ballee High School at 7.50pm.

A large congratulations must go to the eight members who took part in the recent Co. Antrim dairy stock judging with all those taking part receiving 1st in their age groups. If you wish to find out any further details about the club or are thinking of joining do not hesitate to contact the club on 07729613501.
