Assault appeal
Police in Londonderry are appealing for information following an assault on a 28-year-old man on Thursday last, August 2, in the Galliagh area.
The victim was assaulted by a number of unknown males at around 2am between Galliagh and the main Glengalliagh Road. The victim was repeatedly kicked and punched for approximately five minutes before the assailants ran off.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has any information to contact them.
