Bishop announces changes in Dromore diocese
A number of changes within the Catholic diocese of Dromore have been announced by Bishop John McAreavey.
The Very Rev Conor McConville, curate of St Peter and St Paul’s parishes, Lurgan, is to become parish priest of Magheralin and Dromore. He will assist with school chaplaincies in Lurgan, as well the chaplaincy in Craigavon Area Hospital.
The Very Rev P J Murray, parish priest of Dromore, will become pastor emeritus, Dromore, and Very Rev Brian Brown, parish priest of Magheralin, will become parish priest of Magheradroll, Ballynahinch.
Very Rev Gerard Powell, parish priest of Tullylish, will become a member of the Cathedral Chapter.
