Carnlough Art Society stages annual exhibition

Carnlough Art Society is holding its 45th annual exhibition in St John’s Primary School, Carnlough, from Saturday, July 28 to Friday, August 3.

This year there are 150 paintings on display, the work of both amateur and professional artists. There will be something to please everyone and all the works are for sale. There is also the opportunity to view paintings done by children from the two local schools. Prizes for the winning entries will be presented at 4pm on the opening day, Saturday, July 28.

All profits from the sale of catalogues and paintings will be shared between the Northern Ireland Hospice, Northern Ireland Stroke Association and the new MacMillan Centre beside Laurel House at Antrim Area Hospital.

The exhibition will be open on Saturday and Monday to Thursday 3pm to 8pm; Friday 3pm to 4.30pm. The exhibition will be closed on Sunday.
