Carrick scheme launch 2013

This scheme is coming to an end later this year and will be replaced by the Food Standards Agency Food Hygiene Rating Scheme (FHRS).

The council’s Environmental Health section is currently carrying out a programme of work that will allow the local authority to transfer businesses over to the FHRS.

It is currently intended that that the council will launch the FHRS scheme in Carrickfergus by January 2013.

“We would hope that both local food businesses and consumers will find the FHRS as useful and informative as the Scores on the Doors scheme has been,” the local authority stated.
