Charity thanks Europa Foods

THE Aileen McCann Foundation wish to thank Europa Foods Distribution Ltd, on their recent donation to the charity.

Secretary Moira Brennan said: "At this time of economic doom and gloom it is a lot harder to fundraise.

“With so many good causes all struggling and appealing for help it's hard to choose which charity to donate too.

“Europa Foods’ donation will go towards organising trips out for cancer patients and their families and also to bring back the Action Cancer Big Bus to the area - where local people can avail of mammograms, health checks and one-to-one counselling services."

Tea Mornings have now restarted following their change of address.
