Councillors in silent tribute
COUNCILLORS have paid tribute to a former colleague who passed away last month.
A minute’s silence was observed at Monday’s monthly meeting of the local authority in memory of William Cross, a DUP member and councillor from 1981 to 1993.
Members also remembered Sam Dale, owner of Bell’s newsagents, and Betty Wade, mother of council employee Jackie Wade, who passed away recently.
