Councillors told to expect flags and emblems at Dungannon Park for International Fly Fishing Competition
The event, which was approved by Mid Ulster council Development Committee on Thursday night will see around 20 anglers show off their fishing skills in the park’s lake.
On Saturday, June 13 a home leg match between NI and the ROI will take place, with practice planned the previous day.

Hide AdSupported by the Northern Ireland Fly Fishing Association the competition is to include matches between teams from England, Scotland, Wales, Republic of Ireland and Isle of Man.
And during the event, access will be “restricted in favour for the visiting competitors”.
In a welcoming gesture the committee decided to make the lake available to practicing anglers for free, despite an earlier recommendation that they should pay £10 per head per day.
