A motorist was arrested by police officers on the hill section of the M2 motorway this morning (March 10) after a number of offences were detected.

Detailing the incident in a post on social media today (Thursday), a PSNI spokesperson said: “Officers from Mahon Road RPU this morning patrolling the M2 motorway stopped this vehicle.

“The driver was found to be disqualified, uninsured and also wanted on warrant. The driver was arrested and their vehicle was seized.”
