Eyewtiness appeal following burglary

Police are appealing for witnesses following reports of a burglary in the Lisburn area over night.

It was reported that the alleged crime took place in Hunter's Chase, Lower Ballinderry sometime between 10.20pm and 7.30am on Friday/ Saturday.

PSNI lIsburn said: "Were you in the area last night and if so did you see anything unusual? Let us know via 101 quoting serial 298 of 22/10/16."

Meanwhile, a window has been smashed at a residential home in the Main Street area of Glenavy around 9pm last night (Saturday).

Police added: "Police are appealing for any information following an incident of criminal damage on Main Street, Glenavy.

"If you have any information please contact police on 101 and quote serial 1379 of 22/10/16."
