A Facebook campaign, Justice for Glenn Quinn, has since been set up by friends of Mr Quinn acting on behalf of his family.

A post on the page, written by Mr Quinn's sister read: "19 weeks ago our lives changed forever when my brother, Glenn, was brutally murdered. His killers are still walking the streets, terrorising the good people of Carrickfergus.

"Some of those good people will have information that can help the police do their job and get these individuals jailed for their horrendous deeds.

"If you know anything, please find the courage to speak to the police, so that the good people of Carrickfergus can start living their lives without the fear of these vile people continuing to terrorise their communities.

The creators of the Facebook page added: "We don't want Glenn just to become another statistic, and after a few months be forgotten about and the family left in the dark. The community are 100 percent behind the Quinn family and are here for them."
