Sinn Féin MLA Colm Gildernew will meet with police this week following a serious assault on a man in Dungannon.
The Fermanagh & South Tyrone MLA said: “A man was hospitalised after being brutally assaulted in Dungannon in the early hours of Monday morning.
“I would urge anyone with information on this attack to bring it forward to the police.
“There has been a concerning upsurge in incidents like this in this area over recent times, and it’s vital that people can feel safe when they go out.”
