Larne police seize car after motorist detected without valid licence

Police seized a vehicle in Larne this morning (Monday) after they detected a motorist was on the roads without insurance or a valid driving licence.

The offences were detected while officers were conducting vehicle checkpoints in the town “supporting the latest health regulations”.

A PSNI spokesperson said: “On this occasion, officers detected a motorist who decided to use his vehicle without insurance or a valid driving licence.

“As a result, we have seized his vehicle and he will be expecting his day in court in due course.”
