Man due in court following aggravated burglary

Detectives investigating an aggravated burglary in the Fernagh Drive area of Newtownabbey on Saturday, (September 11) have charged a 47-year-old man.

He faces a number of charges, including aggravated burglary with intent to commit grievous bodily harm.

He is due to appear before Belfast Magistrates’ Court today (Monday).

As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
