Man in court
A 31-year-old man is expected to appear at Londonderry Magistrates’ Court later today, Thursday, May 1, charged in connection with a burglary at a bookmaker’s office at Patrick Street.
The burglary occurred over the Grand National weekend.
Entry was gained to offices within the premises and unsuccessful attempts were made to open a number of safes.
A PSNI spokesman said that a key safe, mobile phone and an Internet router were allegedly stolen from the premises.
